The CZU Library is providing trial access to the Web of Science Research Assistant from October 15 to October 31. Web of Science Research Assistant offers a unified conversational entry point to the research workflow. Users can start with a question, topic, author, or journal, and the tool then suggests relevant next steps – such as exploring a topic, preparing a literature review, analyzing trends, exploring authors, or selecting a suitable journal.
Web of Science Research Assistant can help you:
1) Start with a single question – Ask a research question in natural language and receive a structured answer supported by relevant literature from the Web of Science Core Collection.
2) Explore your topic in a broader context – Discover key and related topics, influential publications, authors, institutions, trends, and visualizations that help you gain a faster understanding of a research field.
3) Prepare a literature review – Gather resources for a structured literature review, identify research gaps, formulate hypotheses, and find relevant articles and citations.
4) Find a suitable journal – Benefit from recommendations for relevant and reputable journals, an overview of related articles and authors, and contextual insights to support your publication planning.
