Are you about to start to write a seminar, bachelor or diploma thesis?
Are you puzzled about where to look for information and how to cite used sources?
Is it hard for you to use library catalogues?
Then visit our seminar. We will teach you good habits for searching for and working with information. You will learn about all the information sources accessible not only on CZU but at the other relevant institutions as well ( National Library of Czech Republic, Library of Antonín Švehla). We will teach you how to create an effective search query which retrieves you the information you need. Last but not least we you'll learn how to work with found information - specifically cite the information in your text and create a reference list. Furthermore we will show you how to get full texts of desired articles and how to cite even the most difficult kinds of documents. Help us make your research more effective and simpler.
In the seminar there will be also a short introduction into reference managers which help you with organizing and citing your information sources according to your faculty standards.
