Support of Open Access publishing

CZU, as a member of the CzechELib consortium, can provide corresponding authors from the CZU publishing in Open Access regime with some publishers free of charge (so-called Article Processing Charge, APC). These are article processing fees intended to cover the publisher‘s costs connected with free online access to the article. It is important to mention that this possibility refers only to hybrid journals, see further information below. The fee waiver for the author is mediated by the allocation of the so-called APC token allocated by the CZU Library employees after checking the defined rules.

Rules:
The corresponding author is from the CZU with a stated affiliation to the CZU (the author should use CZU e-mail to guarantee correct identification).
Allocation works based on the "first come, first served" mode according to the available numbers of APC tokens.

To ensure that your article is fully open it is suitable to publish it under a public license, such as internationally used licenses Creative Commons. Based on clearly defined conditions these licenses allow precise determination of how the published work should be treated. To select the appropriate license it is possible to use this licence chooser.
