Connect to the Eduroam network
The Eduroam project is based on a roaming concept that allows users to connect users to the network easily when they are mobile with the participating institutions. The aim of the project is to build a roaming environment between European research and education institutions. Networking is provided through wireless access points and a fixed connection to the host network.
A user who is registered on the network of one of the participating institutions may join another partner's network, the authentication servers will take care to verify their identity at their home organization. Authentication is based on a special 802.1x protocol that provides a sufficient level of security. All client communications are encrypted on a wireless network.
Before you first connect to the eduroam network, you need to get familiar with roaming policies HERE (document in Czech).
